SUMMERSVILLE (WOAY) – The Summersville Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, November 23rd, from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
The checkpoint will be located on Webster Road in Summersville. An alternative location will be Broad Street.
There will also be roving DUI patrols throughout the night.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
