Beckley, WV (WOAY)—The West Virginia State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint in Raleigh County on Friday, April 26.
The checkpoint will be located at the intersection of Route 19 and Johnstown Road in Beckley.
The goal of the checkpoint is to prevent impaired driving and teach the public about the danger and consequences of driving under the influence.
The checkpoint starts at 8:00 p.m. on Friday and will end at 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
