Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint in Beckley on Thursday.
The checkpoint will operate from 6 p.m. to midnight. It will be set up on Route 19 just south of the intersection of Johnstown Road.
The state police say that the checkpoint aims to prevent drunk driving and educate the public about the dangers of driving under the influence.
