I hope you’ve been enjoying this fantastic weekend—it’s certainly been a good one! While a few sprinkles have popped up to the north near Summersville, the rest of the region has stayed dry with plenty of sunshine.
Looking ahead, rain chances are becoming more likely as we move into next week. But first, Sunday is shaping up to be another great day across southern West Virginia, with dry skies and warm temperatures.
Afternoon highs will hold steady in the mid-80s each day, but starting Monday, we’ll see rain chances creep in daily. Early in the week, on Monday and Tuesday, expect only a sprinkle or two at most. Wednesday appears to be the wettest day, with chances tapering off Thursday through Saturday.
With the heat and humidity sticking around, remember to stay hydrated and don’t forget the sunscreen if you’re spending time outdoors.
