Drier and warm today, warming trend through Wednesday

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): After a rainy Sunday, conditions are drying out on Monday morning as a cold front pushes through the area. Expect a few spotty showers for the remainder of the morning- not everyone will see rain. By this afternoon, we will be a whole lot drier, with only a shower or two for our highest elevations. Even then, I’m not expecting much.

Temperatures top out in the upper 70s and low 80s today, which is right where we should be at this time of year. We’ll be warming up through Wednesday, returning our highs back to the mid 80s.

Our next chance of rain comes in Wednesday, and with it, the mugginess. All week long temperatures stay in the 80s. Stay hydrated, and enjoy the calmer weather for the next two days!
