Dollar General Literacy Foundation awards over $65,000 in literacy grants to West Virginia

West Virginia (WOAY)- The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (DGLF) awarded over $65,000 in literacy grants today to non-profit organizations, libraries, and schools across the mountain state. 

A few organizations within our viewing area will benefit from these grants. 

The Fayette County Family Resource Network, the Fayette County Public Library, and the Richwood Public Library received $3,000 in grant funds each. 

DGLF grants initiatives within a 15-mile radius of Dollar General stores and distribution centers to develop and expand literacy programs.
