Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) Tie up your laces and break out your leashes as the Dog Days of Spring returns to Ace Adventure on Saturday, May 9.
The festivities will include a Bark Bash 5k, allowing you and your four-legged friend to hit the trails.
Whether you and your pup are looking for a high-speed challenge or just a nice stroll, the event is open to all fitness levels.
New River Animal Rescue will be on the scene if you are in the market for a new best friend with adoption opportunities.
The day will also include hands-on training sessions with professional trainers, doggie yoga, a Paint Your Pet event, guided hikes, food, drinks, and a vendor village selling pet gear, treats, and accessories.
Registration for the 5k will begin at 8:00 am and the race will start at 10:00 am.
Those who register early will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.
All 5k participants will earn a commemorative race medal, a post-race meal, and free camping on Saturday night at the resort.
