Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) Remembrance ceremonies are being held nationwide, honoring those lost during the September 11, 2001 attacks and the first responders who bravely jumped into action to save lives.
Some of those individuals paying homage to those heroes take the extra step to honor their sacrifice by climbing the equivalent of the World Trade Center’s 110 stories.
Director of Greenbrier County Emergency Management, Don Havens, underwent the memorial stair climb this morning, completing 110 floors on the Stairmaster wearing full fireman gear at Greenbrier Valley Fitness.
