BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Despite lower positive cases, The Beckley-Raleigh County Health Department continues to test individuals for COVID-19.
To date, Raleigh County has had 15 positive cases of COVID-19. To identify and isolate positive individuals, the Beckley-Raleigh County Health Department will continue conducting drive-thru testing every Wednesday from 9 am to 11 am.
“We have been lucky as far as the numbers haven’t been extremely high. We still have continued to do testing. We seen additional cases pop up, but we’re working really hard to do contact tracing and eliminate any spread in the community,” said Administrator and Director of Nursing, Candance Hurd.
To be tested, you must contact the Beckley-Raleigh County Health Department for a pre-screening assessment.
