BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – Deputies are searching for a missing Raleigh County man who went missing walking to work on February 28th, 2020.
On Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 Keeten Asbury’s family members went to the police and told them he had not been seen in 5 days.
“If you were in traffic that day, there’s been some construction in that area so traffic was kind of slow. If you remember seeing anyone walking. He had a Hardees unform on so something may have stood out to you. But if anybody saw him or knows where he may be if they would just call the Sheriff’s office and let us know, so we can try to trace his steps and try to figure out where the last place he has been,” said Lieutenant McCray.
The 22-year-old was last seen walking along route 19 on his way to work at Hardees in Beaver from his home about two miles away.
“The day before he went missing he worked a closing shift and right before I had left he seemed all gung-ho to come back to work, you know was really excited about it. Then he never showed up the next day,” said Keeten’s manager Amanda Juengst.
Family members told police they offered him a ride that day, but he insisted on walking because of the nice weather. They saw him head in the direction of his job wearing his work uniform. But Asbury’s Manager said he never made it in for his shift.
“I was actually in contact with his family and they said that normally he’s in contact with them all the time. So for him to go completely missing no friends, no family is odd,” said Juengst.
If you have seen or have any information about Keeten’s whereabouts call 911 or the RCSO Detective Bureau at 304-255-9300.
