Dealer Arrested in Operation Smoke and Mirrors

Charleston, WV (WOAY) – A convicted meth dealer from Jackson County has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Mark Lively, a 58 year old man from Kenna, was convicted last July for buying 138 grams of meth that he planed to sell.

He was arrested by an officer who searched his vehicle with a K-9 unit.

Lively, along with the person he bought the meth from, are the latest convictions in the federal goverment’s operation smoke and mirrors which seized 400 pounds of meth, 40 pounds of cocaine, and 3 pounds of fentanyl.

It also took nearly a million dollars and 19 guns off the street.
