OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)- To those who are planning on enrolling in college for the 2025-2026 school year, the deadline for financial aid is coming up.
While the federal deadline is June 30th, there are opportunities for grants and scholarships with a deadline in less than a week. Those in high school who wish to apply for the Promise Scholarship must submit their application by this Saturday March 1st, that is up to $5,500 per year.
There’s also the West Virginia higher education grant for any students pursuing a higher education, that deadline is April 15th. For both of these aid opportunities, you must submit an application and your FAFSA to be considered.
