Daniels, WV (WOAY) As those freezing temperatures take hold in the area and snow returns to the forecast, a few organizations are sharing the warmth.
Local churches, ministries, and organizations will host the Share the Warmth community outreach event on Saturday, January 24, at the Daniels Missionary Baptist Church at 122 County Rte 19/13.
From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm, organizers will give out winter coats, cold-weather essentials, and other crucial resources for our neighbors who need them.
Guests will have access to free coats, hats, socks, diapers, formula, and more.
The Salvation Army of Beckley’s cantina truck will provide hot soup, coffee, and hot chocolate for those in attendance.
This event is open to the public, and everyone is welcome.Â
LifeSpring Church, Legacy Church, Daniels Missionary Baptist, Shady Spring First Baptist, I77 Missions, FMRS, and The Salvation Army of Beckley teamed up to make this event possible.
