WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Another consequence of the drought has surfaced and Mother Nature will bring more rain later this week.
CONSEQUENCE OF THE DROUGHT: Tours around the Tygart Dam in Grafton, W.Va., have been discontinued due to the low water levels produced by the drought.
Weather Summary: There will be a quick shower or storm west of the Greenbrier Valley late tonight and then a few showers at daybreak on Thursday. Another storm or two is possible Thursday afternoon. Friday and Saturday will bring rain for everyone at some point during the day thanks to a low pressure pushing through the region. No more than 1 inch of rain is expected. Dry and warm to hot weather returns early next week.
