This fall, CSX will be conducting maintenance on railroad crossings in Summers, Fayette, and Greenbrier County.
Crews will start work on October 2nd. Once work begins on a crossing, it will be closed until it is completed. CSX estimates that it will take 3-5 days to finish work on each crossing.
One crossing that CSX is highlighting in particular is the crossing at Anjean Road, which sees significant traffic coming from Nicholas County. Drivers are asked to plan ahead for the closure, which is scheduled for Oct. 12.
However, any crossings that are one way in and out of an area are usually finished in twelve hours. There are sixteen one-way crossings that are affected.
The dates are subject to change. Newswatch will keep you updated as we learn more.
