Beaver, WV (WOAY) – Crews are working to contain a major water line break in Raleigh County.
According to a Facebook post from Raleigh County Commissioner Daniel Hall, a 24-inch, main water line on Orchard Hill Road in Beaver, WV has ruptured causing major flooding along Ritter Drive. Hall says this is the main waterline going into Beckley.
In a statement from Beckley Water Company, they say they are aware of several low pressures and service interruptions throughout our system. They currently have crews assessing the situation. They currently do not have an ETA for restoration.
