McDowell County, WV (WOAY) – Heads up, drivers in McDowell County
A temporary road closure may affect your commute.
Route 16/35, also known as Court Street, will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, July 14, through Tuesday, July 22.
The closure is necessary for embankment stabilization work.
While Court Street will still be accessible from both ends, local traffic is strongly advised to use alternate routes during this time.
Keep in mind, this schedule is weather dependent, so delays or changes are possible.
