Nicholas County, WV (WOAY) – The city of Summersville says construction on the new Summersville Recreation Complex is set to start next week.
The city met with project partners this week, and officials say that work is ready to start.
The project has been in development since the groundbreaking held in August 2024, and has involved collaboration with engineers, contractors, and other partners.
The property will be closed to visitors once construction begins due to safety concerns.
The Summersville Police Department will be patrolling the site regularly.
