Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – Congress has approved federal spending for several projects around our area.
Congresswoman Carol Miller’s office tells us that the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is getting $340,000 for upgrades to its fleet of vehicles.
Seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars will go to the North Beckley Public Service District’s wastewater treatment plant improvement project.
Another $750,000 will help fund the city of Welch’s sewer overflow removal project.
Lewisburg got nearly 6 million dollars to make improvements to its water system.
