Athens, WV (WOAY) Concord University is shining a spotlight on student innovation this week.
The school’s annual Research Festival returns to campus on Friday, April 24, giving undergraduate and graduate students the chance to showcase their work.
The event will begin with student oral presentations in the state room from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
A keynote address will follow in the ballroom from noon until one, along with free lunch and snacks.
The festival wraps up with an open house and student poster session from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
The event is open to both the campus community and the public.
University officials say it’s a chance for people to see the impressive research students are doing across campus.
