Athens, WV (WOAY) – Concord University is preparing for an annual fundraising event.
The 10th Annual Kevin O’Sullivan Classic 5k happens on Saturday March 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. The event raises money for the Five Aces Scholarship Fund at Concord University.
The Five Aces Scholarship Fund was started by the late Kevin O’Sullivan – along with several other educators at Concord University in the early 80’s to assist deserving students in need. Many students faced temporary setbacks making them unable to meet certain financial obligations forcing them to make the decision to drop out of college. The Five Aces Scholarship Fund was created to keep students dreams alive and your support of this ongoing effort helps make sure students remain focused on their education.
The Concord University Foundation administers and distributes funds in accordance with established guidelines set forth by the University.
