Concord University and Monroe County Schools enter agreement for Level Up program

Athens, WV (WOAY)- Monroe County students now have an opportunity to earn their degrees and enter the workforce sooner, thanks to a partnership with a local university. 

Concord University and Monroe County schools have partnered up for the Level-Up program.   

Level Up allows high school juniors and seniors interested in cybersecurity, education, nursing, or social work to complete two years of dual credit for their chosen program. 

The West Virginia Legislature allocated funds for the dual enrollment pathways pilot program, now known as the Level Up program. 

The program kicks off this fall.
