Clean up crew helps Fayette County residents

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)- After the recent flooding in Fayette County last week many community members homes suffered severe damage.

A small group of members from American Baptist men group relief team met this morning in Oak Hill to help clean severely damaged homes in Fayette County. John Vannoy says the team can help residents tear out wet dry wall, clear mud in the basement and get homes ready for rebuild.

“We are all volunteers and we don’t get paid for this. We work through donations in those kind of things. That’s what keeps us going to seeing people lies change for the better,” said John Vannoy.
