Summersville, WV (WOAY) If you’re looking for a way to celebrate Independence Day in Nicholas County, Summersville has you covered.
The city’s annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration begins at dusk on Saturday, July 4, at the lower parking lot of the Summersville Arena and Conference Center.
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening under the stars.
Organizers say parking will not be available at the Conference Center or DMV.
Attendees are advised to plan to park at Northside, Walmart, or Merchants Walk and walk to the viewing area.
The event will be rescheduled for July 5 in the case of bad weather.
