City of Princeton will keep city pool closed for summer due to COVID-19

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – The City of Princeton Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners met on May 19th to discuss Recreation Department business.

“The decision was made to still have the 4 spring basketball leagues when the Recreation Center is able to open back up for programming. It is our hope that programming and leagues may be able to resume in early September. For questions or additional information, you can email us at princetonrec@suddenlinkmail.com.

Other decisions made in the meeting included that Princeton City Pool will not be able to open this summer due to the pandemic. However, we will open the gate to the Princeton City Park on Tuesday, May 26th.
