Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) Pickleball players in Oak Hill have a new reason to hit the courts.

The City of Oak Hill has installed a new mobile pickleball net at Russell E. Matthews Park.

The net is mounted on wheels, making it easy for players to roll into place for a game and just as easy to return when they’re finished.

City officials are asking everyone to help keep the community resource in good condition by returning the net to its designated storage area after each use.

Anyone who notices vandalism or damage is encouraged to report it to the Oak Hill Police Department or City Hall.

The city says the new addition is designed to make the park even more enjoyable for residents, so grab your paddles, invite some friends, and head to the court.
