Hinton, WV (WOAY) – The City of Hinton is postponing its bulk item spring clean-up.
According to a post on the City of Hinton Government Facebook Page, officials with the City of Hinton say that because of Spring being such a busy time, the Public Works Department for the City of Hinton will schedule the pick-up for the second and third weeks of September this year.
City officials say that the program has made a difference. In the past five years they have hauled over three hundred loads of debris to the Raleigh County Landfill.
If you live in the City of Hinton, you are required to maintain service with Southern Sanitation.
Southern Sanitation will talk one larger / bulky each month for you if notified in advance.
