Bluefield, WV (WOAY)- Families in Bluefield now have a more accessible way to enjoy one of the area’s favorite holiday traditions.
The Special Needs Collaborative is teaming up with the City of Bluefield to host a sensory-friendly night at the Holiday of Lights in Lotito Park on Monday, December 2, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Organizers designed the experience specifically for individuals with special needs and their families.
The event will have little to no wait times, no flashing lights or loud music, and a drive-through format so families can enjoy the displays from the comfort of their cars.
The goal is to make sure everyone can take part in the holiday magic this season.
