Bluefield, WV (WOAY) The City of Bluefield is continuing its annual tradition of ringing in the new year with a Lemon Drop, and they’re not talking about the drink.
On Wednesday, December 31, the city will host its annual New Year’s Eve lemon drop celebration.
The part promises music courtesy of a live DJ, free hot chocolate to fight off the cold, a fireworks display if the weather holds up, and of course, the highly anticipated countdown and lemon drop, ringing in 2026.
The festivities kick off at 11:00 pm on Commerce Street in downtown Bluefield, and the lemon drops at the stroke of midnight.
The event is free to attend.
