Beckley, WV (WOAY) If you have a golden voice or just excellent lung capacity necessary to hold a note, there is a challenge for you.
The Bill Withers Challenge not only honors our very own local legend but also encourages more people to visit the beautiful Bill Withers Plaza.
The challenge requires participants to attempt to hold the iconic sustained note on “Day” from Lovely Day or the extended “I know” refrain from Ain’t No Sunshine for as long as possible.
Then challenge others to beat your time.

Record your version of the challenge, either singing solo or in a group.
