BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The City of Beckley is circulating a survey to get feedback on what qualities residents want to see in a prospective city manager.
The survey lists qualities ranging from experience managing a city to participation in city events to knowledge of technology.
It also lays out roughly a dozen priorities and challenges that a prospective city manager must face. Some of the highlights from that section include addressing quality housing, improving community involvement and trust, promoting economic opportunities, and setting long-range goals for Beckley.
