City Hall assists in Alderson Clean Up

ALDERSON, WV (WOAY) – One of the major concerns for Monroe and Greenbrier County after the flooding this past weekend is recovery. While Alderson is doing its best to offer as much assistance as possible, there are still responsibilities for the public.

“Everybody’s been instructed to take all of their debris out to the curbside,” said GCHSEM Deputy Director Paula Brown. “It’ll be picked up for free on Wednesday, but what we ask is that they call City Hall and make sure that City Hall has their address so that we don’t miss anybody. Because we’re dealing with city properties, county properties and two different counties.”
The people of Alderson can call City Hall at 304-445-2916 to report their address for pick-up.
