Chilly start but warming up nicely this afternoon

Southern West Virginia is in for a beautiful afternoon today, with highs reaching the low to mid-70s. Sunshine will dominate the forecast through midweek, and we’ll see a gradual warm-up over the next few days.

As we move toward the end of the week, there’s a glimmer of hope for rain. The remnants of what is likely to become Tropical Storm Francine could bring some much-needed showers to the area. Rain chances will begin Friday and could last through Sunday.

Enjoy the sunny, warm days ahead, and keep an eye on the forecast for potential rain later in the week!
