WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): As October ends, the weather brings a chill in the air for those trick-or-treating this evening. Layers will be needed, but the rain gear can be set aside. Temperatures will be much, much cooler than they were last year, and staying warm is crucial whether you are out and about collecting candy or sitting in the stands cheering on your favorite football team tonight. The winds will be whipping, only making things feel cooler as the day goes on. Meteorologist Christian Boteler brings the full chilling forecast:

After these scattered showers come through, skies will remain mostly cloudy for Sunday afternoon and onwards. The next work week will be much drier as multiple regions of high-pressure move through the area. Wednesday will break 60 degrees as a low-pressure system is trending to miss us just to the north.
