Chilly 2024 Start Continues; 2023 Ranked Warm

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): Bursts of light snow are expected this week with seasonable to chilly temperatures.

SNOW CHANCES THIS WEEK: Expect a dusting of snow Monday night with up to 2.5″ above 3,000 feet, particularly in the western Greenbrier Valley to Pocahontas County. Next threat is early Thursday with another dusting of snow. Final threat is Saturday evening into early Sunday as a soggy system brings rain, then sleet and freezing rain. 1-2″ of snow looks likely on the colder, tail end of that system.
