GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- Greenbrier County authorities charge a mother and father with child neglect.
Greenbrier County Sheriffs report they responded to a call from a local hospital early Friday morning regarding a 2-year-old child who reportedly suffered an overdose.
EMS transported the child to the emergency room and administered naloxone twice on the way to the facility.
Authorities obtained a search warrant to search the local hotel where the child was staying with their parents.
During the search, they found illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Sheriffs charged the parents, Kaenon L. Hundley, 26, of Fairlea, and Ireland Keen, 24, of Fairlea, with child neglect with risk of death or serious bodily injury.
