Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – A Chicago woman has been sentenced to forty years in prison for dealing drugs in Fayette County.
Krystal Tankson was a member of the Heather Hewitt drug trafficking organization in Fayette County. She was responsible for moving money from West Virginia to Chicago to pay for shipments of drugs, which turned out to be major amounts of fentanyl and meth.
Tankson must serve ten years of her forty-year sentence before she becomes eligible for parole. Judge Fast noted the amount of harm her actions caused Fayette County residents in his ruling.
