Richwood, WV (WOAY)-It’s that time of year again in Richwood!
The Cherry River Festival Fireman’s Parade is back, and it all happens Friday, August 1.
Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with dinner served at the fire station.
Then at 6:30, the lineup begins at the old Park Place Exxon, known to locals as the Hole in the Wall, before the parade rolls out along its traditional route: down Main Street to Oakford Avenue, then onto Valley Avenue, and back to the station.
Fire, Police, EMS, special ops, tactical teams, you’re all invited to join the procession.
Private owners of antique fire trucks, vintage police cars, or classic ambulances are welcome, too.
It’s a proud community tradition and a night you won’t want to miss.
