CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — Charleston police said a man was found dead on a West Side porch after he apparently froze to death.
Police said the man was found just before noon Sunday on the porch of a home in the 1800 block of Seventh Avenue on the West Side of Charleston. Overnight temperatures plunged into single digits.
According to police, neighbors said the man was homeless. The man’s name has not been released at this time.
