SUMMERSVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A Republican Nicholas County incumbent has held off a challenge from a Democrat.
Nicholas County Commissioner D. Craig Chapman, a Republican, has defeated Democrat Sarah Meadows Brown.
Numbers reported to the West Virginia Secretary of State show Chapman holding a 600-vote lead, nearly 10 points clear of Brown.
