West Virginia (CNN)—Duda Farm Fresh Foods has issued a voluntary precautionary advisory regarding a batch of ready-to-eat celery sticks that may contain listeria.
The advisory covers over 1500 cases of four-pack “Marketside Celery Sticks.”
They were distributed and sold in Walmart stores across multiple states, including West Virginia.
All the potentially affected units are past their expiration date and no longer for sale, but some consumers may have frozen them for later use.
Consumers who have this product, including in their freezer, should throw it out.
So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the product.
The advisory does not apply to any other Marketside or Duda farm fresh foods products.
