Cass, WV (WOAY) A new campground is now open at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park
West Virginia state parks will hold an open house today to celebrate the opening of Slabtown Campground.
The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The new campground features 100 campsites, including full-hookup sites, electric and water sites, and select sites for equestrian campers.
There’s also a campground store, bathhouses, and a laundry facility.
The campground is open year-round and is located near the Greenbrier River and the Greenbrier River Trail.
Refreshments will be available during today’s open house, and the campground store will have special offers.
