Technical Operator:
WOAY-TV has an exciting opportunity available as a Technical Operator.
Primary duties include directing newscasts, working closely with news team to ensure videos, graphics, and news elements are properly loaded, running and logging commercial breaks, preparing new programs for air, monitoring programs and commercial breaks, and making log adjustments as needed.
Ideal candidate must be able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, be deadline oriented, have proficient computer skills and reliable transportation. Positions available for evenings and weekends. No broadcast experience required. Part-time and full-time options available.

WOAY-TV is looking for a motivated team player to join us as a multimedia journalist/reporter.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or other related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial. You must be able to prioritize, work well independently, have strong organizational skills, handle time constraints, and meet deadlines. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfy a pre-employment DMV check.
This position requires you to report, shoot, write, and edit stories. You will be expected to produce content for a variety of platforms including our website, social media, and mobile app, in addition to television. Factual research, source development, and finding leads is crucial, in addition to being flexible to work assigned shifts.
