BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Shade Tree and Smooth Impressions Car Clubs have held a neighborhood car cruise for the second week in a row now.
The cruises are held more often and in different locations to give more community members a chance to see them. Stephanie French, Secretary and Treasurer of the Shade Tree Car Club, says setting up the cruises once a week has so far been a breeze thanks to community engagement.
“With social media today it’s very very easy and we just reach out to our communities, see where we can set up and do these things. And we just send out things on social media and we call the local news,” French said.
According to French, neighborhood cruises will continue once a week until the pandemic over.
