Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – President Donald Trump has made a major endorsement in the 2026 United States Senate race in West Virginia.
In a post on Truth Social today, President Trump announced his total endorsement of incumbent Senator Shelley Moore Capito.
Capito is facing a primary challenge from Derrick Evans, a West Virginian who was convicted on charges connected to the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
He was pardoned by Trump this year.
Capito thanked President Trump on Twitter.
