Coal City, WV (WOAY) – Independence baseball has put together a string of wins in the second half of the regular season, that has the team full of confidence with sectionals not far away.
The Patriots have seen standout performances from several players in recent weeks, including from Logan Stump, Hunter Schoolcraft, Hunter Mills, and Fisher Horton.
Independence is 3-0 this week with two wins against Westside followed by a 5-4 win over Riverside Tuesday. They’re scheduled to play PikeView and Shady Spring later this week.
