Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Travelers will soon have new destinations to choose when booking flights from West Virginia International Yeager Airport.
Governor Patrick Morrisey announced Breeze Airways will add up to five new non-stop flights from Charleston over the next two years. Over the next 24 months, routes will be added with a priority given to Las Vegas and a Texas City.
“Breeze Airways’ expansion is another sign that our state is on the rise, attracting new investments and delivering more travel options for West Virginians,” said Governor Morrisey. “This continued growth at CRW will grow tourism, add jobs, and let the rest of the world see what the Mountain State has to offer. These new flights are a testament to the fact that our efforts to make the state more attractive to business are working.”
“We are excited to continue expanding our partnership with the state of West Virginia as we bring back our Tampa nonstop service,” said Fiona Kiesel, Breeze Airways’ chief guest officer. “As we have continued to build our brand awareness in the state and region, we have seen growing demand for our service. We look forward to not only connecting our Guests in Charleston to new destinations through this partnership but also making it easier for travelers from other areas to visit historic Charleston.”
The flights Charleston to Tampa begin Oct. 3 and tickets are on sale now.
