Braxton County, WV (WOAY) – A Braxton County pastor is facing charges after allegations of “inappropriate physical contact.”
52-year-old Jason Allen of Flatwoods was charged on Monday, November 17, 2025, with a single count of battery. The alleged incident happened at a church in Sutton where Allen serves as pastor.
According to a media release from the West Virginia State Police, a church member reported that Jason Allen made physical contact that was “sexually motivated” during a marital counseling meeting at the church.
Allen was arraigned and released on a $5,000 bond.
