Richwood, WV (WOAY)—Bonnie’s Bus Mobile Mammography Unit will offer three-dimensional digital screening mammograms and breast care education in Nicholas County on Wednesday, April 23.
The mobile unit will be parked at the Richwood City Hall from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A doctor’s order is required for any patient seeking to receive services.
Medicaid, Medicare, and all private insurance are accepted.
The West Virginia breast and cervical cancer screening program provides funds for uninsured patients.
Bonnie’s Bus has provided over 30,000 mammograms for women throughout the Mountain State, which has led to the detection of over 170 breast cancer cases since 2009.
Many of the patients screened are underinsured or uninsured.
