West Virginia (WOAY)- Bonnie’s Bus Mobile Mammography Unit will offer three-dimensional digital screening mammograms and breast care education in Mercer and Greenbrier County next month.
On Tuesday, June 3, the mobile unit will be at the Bluestone Health Center in Princeton.
On Thursday, June 5, Bonnie’s Bus will be at the Holiday Inn Express in Lewisburg.
All mobile units will open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A doctor’s order is required for any patient seeking to receive services.
Medicaid, Medicare, and all private insurance are accepted.
The West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program provides funds for uninsured patients.
Bonnie’s Bus has provided over 30,000 mammograms for women throughout the Mountain State, which has led to the detection of over 170 breast cancer cases since 2009.
Many of the patients screened are underinsured or uninsured.
